I like the redesign more than the outgoing model. The previous generation was very bland looking. The new one is very 'chunky' and actually has some detailing in the body work. They've integrated things like the new Chevy grill and stacked headlights quite nicely. The fenders, well with everything else being rectangular, having round fenders would look very wrong.

Everything "fits" much better than the GMT-900s which had panel gaps galore.

They needed to address the ground clearance before calling this truck high country. I'm die hard Chevy but I will admit they have the worst ground clearance. Could stand to lose all that chrome on the grill as well. Body colored or black looks so much better.

Not a fan of the big "chrome" grille. The white (or maybe it's silver) truck looks great though. Interior is very nice.

Would love to see Chevy take a que from that Dodge posted above... namely black everything except the grill bars. I really like the look of the High Country, wish it sat a littel higher, but overall looks like great package. Saw a new Silverado in person and it's SOOOO much better looking in person that in pictures. Now I wanna see the new Denali!

I agree that the Ram is killing GM in the looks department. Also if you want a reg cab shortbox the Ram is the only way to go..

Hope all those headlights and fog lights can't be activated at once lol. Wouldn't be legal in Ohio.

Uuugggggglllllyy.

In any case, it's likely a pair of HID's, and a pair of DRL's, with fogs down low.

The family truckster is exactly what I was thinking. As far as refresh vs redesign goes, I don't care if every nut and bolt is new or that the panel gaps are better, an ugly truck is an ugly truck. What you guys are missing because you are clouded with blue bowties circling your heads is that Ford and Dodge make great trucks these day too and they also happen to look good. It's a shame that everyone I know including me is stuck having to buy a 2500 series of we want a decent looking Chevy truck to drive.
