Friendly in Puyallup will honor MSRP if you order it via them.

It's when they agree to a price with someone who has preordered and then jack it up after the fact breaking the agreement....verbal or written it doesn't matter that is bad business.
The problem is they are bankrupt and the Japanese, Koreans, Ford and others are dumping cheap sports coupes and gouging for an LS hurts more than the dealer it hurts GM's ablity to retain market share.

I am about ready to call the owner of the dealership & tell him what I think about his dealership charging 10k over MSRP. For a car.
Gotta love those f*$#in state franchise laws........

I have a dream..... that one day we will live in a country where an automobile manufacturer has the right to set up their own dealership network and not have to contract with franchises...... I have a dream that one day GM will be able to sell their cars, on their own, at their own price, at stored owned by GM, employed by people who work for GM, and mechanics who actually train at GM's hq, right along side the engineers and designers of the cars themselves.

I have a dream.

Well NO matter what we are hopfully waiting for a vert lol So we are a couple years out. plus it gives me some time to be in College & doing a few things, before I have to worry about a new car.

That would most likely mean Zhawks Vette & his 95 will go up for sale.

No what pissed me off about the whole thing was the guy that came over, We asked what the price was & he said $35 & when I told him I could get a 2SS RSs for about that price he said HAVE A NICE DAY & slammed the hood down, there was another guy looking at the car as well.

The only options this car had was a sunroof & the paddle shifters (dont know if those or options are not)

I think it is funny that they pull such an expensive marked up car into the parking lot of a store that is known for cheap prices!

Anyone shopping in Walmart is unlikely to spend $10K extra on a car!! Which marketing genius at the dealer though of that one!

If they pulled it up outside of Armani Exchange or something, then maybe I can see them getting somewhere.
