Check the lemon laws in your state, go from there, and surely one of the Customer Service reps will pop up on here in a minute

Good luck

45th, I'm going to read your story, sound interesting

I am thinking that the car was damaged on the front end too. Too many things that are wrong on the front end. Plus the fact that your front bumper is a different color and it doesn't line up? To me, this just sounds like it got hit.

If it did, no one is fessing up.
I spoke to the GM at the original dealer, the GM of the dealer in SC, two people at General Motors 1-800, and a district manager...

If someone could tag a GM service rep to this that would be great. I can't find any in the search I'm bad at it.

My first Camaro 2010 2SS was wrecked by the dealer. I had to do my own investigation and hire an expert to write a book on it, literally lol needless to say the dealer finally fessed up when I handed the book and gave them the ultimatum of either one of two things, male suit or buy my car back. Needless to say they bought the car back.

Sorry you are having problems with this one.

I am loving my second Camaro though, so I know what you mean about feeling hesitant in buying a second one.

Oh boy... not promising.
It would appear this isn't rare?

My advice is dont buy a car at dusk lol

When I first saw it in the day time I was like WTF?

The dealer claimed it was sand damaged during shipping, I call big time BS!!

They replaced the rear bumper, rear quarter panel, and had to bondo the drivers side and repaint most of the car.........that much damage is not from any sand storm.

Yes it does happen, damage can occur in shipping or by a careless porter driving the car. Then the dealers fix it and sell it, they are supposed to disclose stuff like that but some are rats and don't want to lose the money.

My first car had over 10k in damage.

Holy moly, I just hate to think of the resale value I've lost in the car after all the crap i've gone through.
If someone asked me in a private sale "Have you had any issues with the car" I don't think I'd be able to keep a straight face

Hence why I made them buy it back, I didn't want a wrecked car for one and if I did sell it I didn't want to have that hassle. They did offer me a large amount of money, free extended warranty and other stuff. I just wanted a new car lol

My advice would be try and get GM to do a buy back on it or a lemon law and get a new one from a trusted dealer.

I hear nothing but good things about Becky from Rodgers Chevrolet. Wish I would have known about her sooner.

Maybe the salesman was the one that wrecked it during the test drive?

Sounds like a bunch of interior issues, the paint mismatch is common on the bumpers. sometimes you look at it from a different angle and it matches.
You still have options, they could buy the car back or you could have them fix the minor things and see if the car is good to go from there.

No one is going to fess up. As another member has already pointed out, the onus of proof is upon you.

I too had a similar situation. The dealer swore up and down that my car was never damaged, so on and so on.

In the end, I proved that it was certainly damaged and never disclosed. It was a lot of work. It took a lot of time. It created a lot of stress. Be prepared for this. No one is going to lay down and easily give you what you deserve - a replacement vehicle.

OP it's time to get a good lawyer... Let the lawyer handle it and when you win your case get your money back plus legal fees and buy another from Becky.
