I use ONR on light to moderate dirt on my car and it does work very well, but I wouldn't recommend it for heavy soiled surfaces.

The process goes very fast and I take a slight variation to the process and do a two bucket version rinsing the dirt out between panels. This works well since I only use it on a lightly soiled car.

There are many who insist you can use it on a dirtier car but my personal technique is to not try it on my Camaros.

I agree...this is for people like myself that keep up with thier car. If you don not wash often, then you need a flooded procedure (hose) But for me - in a condo complex - who washes weekly, it is a great way to do things. In two years both my '13 accord and my wife's 328 do not have a single imperfection on them using this method. Every time I touch the car it is with a new loaded towel so no dirt gets put back in the solution. And at the end, the remainder is poured into a jerry can to use as clay lube or another wash next time.

Coming out of the winter in the northeast with a dirty car, you'd be crazy to do this....but to be "down " on it, is shortsighted for many.

Now the one I won't do is the waterless products, these are different in that a dry MF touches your paint with a slight spray, like a QD. I don't like them either. They both microscratch, IMO. Either lots of water in a rinseless, or flooded procedure for me. In fact if I have a hose, a foam gun is attached.
