yeah just use a loan calculator.

55,000 (what I paid) @2.9%(current rate at our local credit union) over 74 months would be 724.36 a month. then depending on options and such.

it amoritizes out at $5,837.45 in intrest which in my form of currency is 145.9 lap dances or .68 M82's.

IMO it not a smart play finacially to do so unless you can but 10k plus down. you will be upside down in the car for a wile if you don't.

But I have some money saved (not enough to pay it off) but enough to where I feel I may be able to get where I once was. I love the look of the ZL1 but like I said, if Im not able to do it once the 14's come out then I will just get another SS and mod it until its similar. Hahaha.
You'll be happier with the ZL1. It's a beast and not something you see on every corner.

I hate to hear that, glad you're alright. The ZL1 is a great car. So good luck with your decisions and search.

For a 72 month 1.9%, paying $706.00. But I put down over $10,000. plus I also had to pay a gas guzzlers tax. Which is a crock of #^*@!

I'm the one paying for gas, that should be penalty enough! My "Green" vehicle is a 11' Silverado 3500 diesel doolie, gets 15 MPG.

Unless you have to have a brand new ZL1 just go used. I purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Certified with just 3050 miles on it. There are a few on this Forum for sale.

I agree, unfortunately some dealers think the used ones are super rare! I looked at a 2012 CRM auto w/ 2,300 miles, they wouldn't budge off of $57,000. Ended up buying new.

I say it's a double tax, you, we, are already paying extra gas tax by using more gas. Some people(i subbed some people for a political name here to avoid getting into a political discussion) can't see it that way. Got in to this discussion with my very not to the right(again, substituted) leaning brother and his wife, they can't be swayed.

But she drives a Honda Accord Hybrid, so

I like the environment as much as the next guy, hunting, fishing, camping, grew up doing all that, still like going to the woods. I just haven't personally found a vehicle that is cost effective and hybrid or other that does the job of one of my vehicles. When I looked at hybrid Silverados and Tahoes, those were just too dang expensive, spend more getting hybrid than you do saving gas, and that doesn't work for me.

everyone's logic is kinda funny, there are some people that would say paying $55K for a car is unwise, i would buy another ss if it were me and save the other 25K
