Don't Sleep on My V6
|
Everything that is new has a potential to look good or bad. But yall commenting on a unfinished product. Things mature and get perfected over time and is a risk that is taken when being a early adaptor. Unlike the SS the V6 has very little offered to it so we get happy just seeing things like this. Most have been waiting for this system so are willing to deal with a weird hood. But I think that a smoked plastic hood bubble would look great. Many said that the Ohio Speed hood was awful but now many love it. That hood would do this project right also. Or some may have at it themselves and make their own creations.

Call me old school but I like it. Just needs a 4 to 6in. cowl hood. Not a fan of the see thru stuff but to each there own. I think its heading in the right direction as to more options for the v6ers. Well done Tracy now get us some videos.

They are using the ZL1 hood. Just has a custom cutout so the back of the SC could fit.

It won't fit under your hood. It's about 4 to 5 inches over the stock cowl. It's going to need a big cowl hood or to have it sticking out.

I think that is way over kill. Do they even make a Cowl 4-5" over stock? That would be a 6" cowl lol
Information i got it was about 3" in the back over plenum with a iceolator. In the middle its about 4". Here is a pic of me testing 4" in the back and 5" up front. and my hood hits. 3.5" in back and 4.5" upfront and it works. But only way to find out is to put the hood over one. And i hope to do that as soon if rsv07 lets me But my luck this new hood will be 1/4" to short
