Yes , you do need that , just to make sure that every one at the dealer and their families are well taken care of
After all , they have bills too , and they have to send their kids to school ,pay their mortgage , car payments , school loans , [ I don't think that there are many ] in there
Call them back and , very polite tell the little guy/girl , that makes the calls ,to STOP IT
Don't ask them tell it in their face
Gee.

Can you please , explain to us [ ME ] what in particular a brand new car may need in REGULAR maintenance after 90 days , because I just don't get it ,,,unless off course the buyer drives his car day and night non stop ,,,
I can't believe you are going to CONVERT ME on this one
Just keep in mind that the OP DID NOT start the conversation , the dealer made the call!!!

As a guy that has bought several motorcycles, the parting words of the dealer before I ride off are: "Bring your bike in at 500 miles and we will service it for your 500 mile service". Did the word FREE get mentioned? Prepare for the "SERVICE" by bending over and pulling your butt cheeks apart, at least it won't hurt as bad when you lay down $200 for your "SERVICE".
Seriously, there is NO FREE SERVICE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
