It looks like something is preventing that piece from seating properly. At first I thought the door was out of alignment, but upon closer inspection that panel is not properly positioned or seated. It needs to be fixed.

That mere fact that you are here asking this questions should be answer enough. If this is going to bug the heck out of you then don't keep it. If you can live with the fix go for it. You are the only one that can make this decision. Good luck.

This is actually after they already took it off and re-installed it, it isnt formed right. Originally it was VERY noticeable (similar to the issue other forum members have had), but after they tried to fix it this was the best they could get it.

I think based on everyones opinion here, my own feelings, and also hozz55 pointing out that I AM going to drive it year round so thats a place where salt can get in and corrosion can happen I'm gonna just fix it. As well weighed in my mind is the fact that I trust the dealer and they seem to trust their body shop and the work they do, as well they were very proactive in setting this up. If it was no big deal then they would not have made such a big deal. Now I just gotta wait for the part to come in which could take a while.
