I've had the SS with the red inserts on order from gmpartsdirect now for nearly 4 weeks. I emailed them to see what the issue is. The SS emblems, at least the ones with the read inserts p/n 92228475 are back ordered and there is no ETA for them. Welcome to the new GM. Ed M.

Had to drill 2 holes for the front each, and 1 hole for the rear each. Otherwise, they use existing screws in the fender wells. I was a little nervous drilling holes, but even if you removed the splach guards, the holes wouldn't show.

Looks great! Are those the same RS badges that go on the trunk lid or are they from something else?

Those splash guards don't look half bad

The extra RS emblems are not my taste however

As I was installing them, I noticed there were already small nicks in the lower sides behind the wheels, so they are going to be functional too.

Yes, they are the same as the trunk lid badge.

Thanks for sharing. The splash guards look fine. I wont be installing them on mine initially. If I throw a rock that results in a chip I may reconsider though. The RS badges look great!

The White SS badge is Prt # 92228474. It's apparently the same one that is on the rear lid according the GM site. Nice!!

I have had my red SS badges on order from gmparts direct since 6.15.09 and still no shipment. I emailed them and they said I can cancel if I want, however the parts are on backorder and they dont know when they will get them in stock. My guess is now that GM is starting to produce the cars they are using up all the badges.

LOL

Badges look good. Not a fan of splash guards on any vehicle.

The badging looks good as does the spacing between them.
