I doubt they will raise the price again till new 2011 model year. With Ford and Hyundai dumping cheap RWD sport coupes and trying to secure more market share it would be foolish to raise the prices right now. Coming into the shopping season too.

Your pricing is the pricing at the time of order, NOT delivery.

If you order and the price goes up, you don't pay the difference....unless your dealer's trying to tap more cash from your wallet.

I was told at classic chevrolet in sugarland when I ordered I was guaranteed MSRP. But that if MSRP increased I would have to pay the new price. They only guarantee MSRP, they don't know what that MSRP may be at the time I receive my car

Hello, Canadian pricing was raised marginally effective July 1, 2009. $70.00 for the all models except the LS.

Thanks,

Kelly

Guess you haven't been paying attention to the Price gouging dealer thread! Check it to see if your dealer is on it. If so, the reason they won't price protect you is because they plan to tell you:
"Oh, your car is here."
You say, "Cool on my way."
When you get there, the dealer sits you down to do the papers and surprise!!!!!

The papers show a MARKET VALUE INCREASE of 5-10K.
You say "what is this?"
He sayes "Well we had no idea how popular these cars were going to be, the demand is so high that we have to add a MARKET VALUE INCREASE"

...its almost a crime what some dealers are trying to do to buyers of the Camaro:
The wife and I went out yesterday to 2 dealerships in the Tampa Bay area
and found 2 Camaros at one of those dealerships- for $7000.00 over MSRP!!!
Also got a call from another dealership indicating they were willing to sell an SS for "only $5000 over MSRP".
I hope those cars sit on their lots long enough so that when enough Camaros are produced, they won't be able to charge these ridiculous mark-ups. I am not against dealers making money, but this is just insane.

True...but the shipping dropped 50.00 so the net effect was $20.00 .

Golden Rule: If it's not in writing, it never happened. I made sure I had my price in writing when I ordered and recommend the same. Makes it real hard for them to play games when the car finally arrives.
