don't think about buying gorilla locks btw, add a nice alarm system to alert you for next time.

Appreciate it everyone, its been rough. We actually had the car back on Saturday with another set of 22" wheels but the offset was causing the wheels to stick out of the wheel wells and therefore they rubbed violently on a few bad bumps so we took it back. Plus they are still waiting on the side moldings.

Yeah I am going to look into an alarm before too long, but for now the garage will help while I am home. I work on the road A LOT so this is an eye opening experience!

Haha, funny enough there are 2 Porches that sit out as well, a new CTS with 22" wheels, and a few other nice cars with aftermarket wheels. I was shocked that I was chosen. Must have been something about my 22" wheels that would be so easily sold I guess.

Gives me a thought, someone I used to know had an engraver, and I bet a few people have them sitting around. Might be worth the effort to find a spot on the inside of the rim and put a unique serial number. Like a combo of birthday and last four of social, or high school graduation date, something like that. In case the long shot comes about and someone has the chance to identify them.

LOl@Sapper.

This definitely sucks for the OP.
Don't 'apartment complexes' have security that patrol the area frequently???

not going to make you feel any better, but I had a two way alarm, that alerted a key ring fob, and a kill switch, and my car was still stolen. so if someone wants your car, or any part of it, they will take it. good luck though.

That's exactly what the police said to do, they told me to find a spot on the back side hidden and etch something/ take pictures and that would help get them back if they are found, key word get them back if they are FOUND, lol!!

Our complex just has a gate that anyone can follow a car inside. The ONLY surveillance camera was at the front gate and there is another side gate (which management saw nothing on the footage that was helpful). Also we have police patrols at certain times of the day, plus LEO's that live here 1 of which is in my building... Sucks...

Sorry to hear that, and I agree. If a thief wants something they can find a way to get it!
