You look at the % of cars breaking and it's extremely small.
The problems always get blown out of proportion in most cases. Are things perfect? No, but let's not get carrried away. The problems are real, but not by any means out of control.

Move the factory from Mexico back to USA.

You buy cheap... you get cheap (supplier comment not car buyer). I am sure the folks at the US tranny plants would love to have the business.

my friend i am smiling reading your experience,BECAUSE THAT EXACTLY HAPPEND TO ME AND MORE

i took possesion of number vin # 4250 april 23 who was buitl april 20,so after 5 good lauchs control start BANGGGGGGi feel something like spinning on splinds,i saw grease on my passenger mag wheel

when the dealer remove the right axel shaft, the tripizoide#$%& was craks to the splind,so the shaft spin in the splind

my friend, the part was and are still back order hong-kong for 2 weeks

so i took the responsability to repaired at my fee the broken shaft for driving carefully, but it broke again(maybe the repair was not like original)

anyway, after a wait of 2 weeks ,my car was repair and i easyly sold it without mention the poor quality of the axel shaft issue

so 3 weeks ago i was lucky(or unlucky) to find and buy an other brand new ls3 camaro, the days of the delivry, just like i explain to the salesmanager (who had is hand on the top of the roof,) how works the lauch control stability track ,i drop the clutch at 4100 rpm

and be my guess imagine WHAT HAPPEND IN FRONT OF THE SALESMANAGER

BANGGGGGGGG

IT IS BROKE AGAIN BUT THIS TIME WHEN I RELEASE THE CLUTCH,NOTHING HAPPEND no sound,no sensation of spinning on splinds

this time it was the output shaft who was cut like perfectly by lazer ¼ to ½ inches inside the tranny

back-order honk-kong again

wait the new tranny from queretaro mexico fedex 187 lbs 2 weeks again without my second camaro:fac epalm::fac epalm::mad02 60::m ad0260:: iono:

Hope these problems don't get worse when the M6ers start throwing the drag radials on and going to the track.

There was an axle plant in NY that wanted this business. It's closed now.

The vendor chose to source the Camaro's axles from Mexico;

Tremec is in Mexico as well.

this was with a bone stock car with 3k miles wtf do you think is gonna happen with slicks and more power, its gonna break shit left and right at this rate. i am not pleased..

although i will say On-Star was The best with there service, i called them and literally 35 minutes later there was a wrecker there to tow my car to the nearest dealership, i didn't have to pay a penny, i guess on-star already had an acct set up with them or something, needless to say though i was impressed with that.

Same thing happened to my car tonight, 3500-4k drop clutch and thud car stayed running and it actually said it was doing like 20mph even though it was still like something was spinning inside , onstar and roadside was also great 40 minutes later tow truck came and took to dealership.. im really disapointed in the car at this point for doing this, i mean i dont think its driver error u should be able to drop the clutch at decent rpms and have no issues but spinning tires
