There is money to be made on an aftermarket for this.

Its like a remote start in winter.

There isn't an AC unit for these, in fact some units are just fans. If there is a cooling device, it is a small purely electrical device like in the small coolers you plug into a cigarette lighter.

They dont have a unit for each seat, they just have extra duct work and maybe an extra fan

It looks like you can get an aftermarket kit. I installed aftermarket heated seats in my wife's last car and it wasn't too bad. How hard could this be.

Our Chevy Avalanche has seats that cool. They are pretty sweet. It would be a nice feature on the Camaros, especially for the convertibles when the sun is beating on you!! It occasionally happens here in Michigan LOL.

Curse you and your "almost Fall" comment! I have been so busy with work, it feels like it should be April still.

In Florida, with a convertible I would much rather have chilled seats over heated.

I was quite surprised when it wasnt even an option. The chilled seats are so common these days I feel that is a miss on GM's part. They may not think so though since I still bought a g5 camaro convertible.

??? I guess you have one of the "strong" ac's. at idle after start up mine gets cool but not cold. Even 10 minutes after start up at idle the interior is not "cold". I takes the edge off though.

After one cycle of the auto start, it's an ice box in mine. Guess I do have one of the strong ac's. Seats aren't frigid, but cool.

Summer is 1 of 4 seasons in a twelve month year. Three months are in a season.

Fall begins on September 21 or 22, I forget which.

It's July 26th. Then August 26th comes. Then September...21....Summer is a little past 33% over, not 'almost' over. There's about seven full weeks left in Summer. Just tossing in a little something to chew on. I know winter starts on October 1st in MN but dammit you have more time to play hockey on ponds

You just have to punch a lot of holes into your seat to get the air through the leather.
