Of course I voted for the 13'.......
As for seats, I'm putting a set of fixed Sparco Competition seats in my 1LE. As nice as the Recaros are I'll still opt for what I have. Just my opinion.

My vote is the 13. If you get either car that is awesome. I love the front of the 14 and the rear of the 13. However the rear makes my decision as I am not digging the 14s rear. Maybe when I can see one on the road I will change my mind.

bought a 13' in a hurry cause I was scared there would only remain 14'.
14' is plain ugly to me, just a japanese style restyling for 2 or 3 years before noew platform. Plain ugly. I really don't understand why corvette and camaro are more and more looking like japanese or european cars .... being european myself, be proud of your roots, make your own designs

I do not dislike the 2014 redesign. In fact, they did a great thing making the hood design functional and having the rear LED "light" option. However, they took away from the uniqueness of the 1969-like styling when they redesigned the front and rear. So In all honesty, the 2010-13 look better for this reason. However if you are all about functionality more than looks, a 2014 car makes sense. I went with a 13 because I liked the current design (front and back) better and I knew that 2014 1SS would not be much different and that I would have to wait longer to get my car ordered. So when it comes down to a 1LE, the argument can go both ways since it is an option on the SS.

Personally, I think the 13 has more of a muscle car feel when you look at it... Especially from the rear tail section. I love the chrome bezels in the early years because it reminds me sim much of my first gen. I for one also like the mail slot, I thought it was a touch of Zo6 added to the flavor. I don't mind the 14s wider hood and loovers, but the mail slot delete kind of killed it for me. I do like the thinner grille section tho. The seats kick ass. I had a choice of the two and I went with the 13 to sit next to my 68. Remember tho, that's just how I felt.
At the end of the day, to each his own. |

I just picked up my 2013 last week. I didn't want to wait and the car I got was exactly what I would have ordered anyway so I pulled the trigger. I am too big to fit the Recaro's so I wouldn't have ordered them but I do wish the seats had the suede inserts that the ZL1 has. I might add them at a later date.

I like the 2013 better only because I have a 2013. I like the 2014 equally and would take one in a heartbeat.

Not a big fan of the 2014s. But Becky had a red 1LE, I saw the other day which changed my mind. Did look sweet

Ha. Did it have the RS package? It was probably mine. I'm getting it on Friday.
