Genius..... how brilliant. So the plasti dip wraps around the back kinda and as it drys it breaks away? There rly is a god... doing work everyday...hallelujah

"This is the amazing part. You just tape off a block around the letters and spray 3 or 4 coats and let dry. The outside excess peels off because the letters form a break in the Plasti Dip. You lightly dig out the inside of the closed letters with a wooden toothpick."

I wonder how it would look with the mirrors plasti-dipped... would get a little paint protection out of it too.

I was thinking of doing that too as clearly someone scraped the crap out of my passenger side mirror. I figure Plasti them both instead of outright painting it again.

I was going to leave my camaro letters "chrome" but maybe plasti-dip is the way to go. I bought custom bow ties and matte black tail light bezels from Lupe.

The car looks awesome Fraxum

Thanks for the pics. White is very cool on the 1LE.

I see you added the reverse light borders too. Nice.

Are the Rocker bottoms unpainted? And they look look a little lighter than the Plasti Dip. Or is it the lighting?

I see now I will have to paint the upper 1/2 of the ZL1 Rockers IOM. Can I buy this by the can from somewhere?

Also now I am thinking about the ZL1 diffuser to complete the lower black sweep front to back. Do I need the ZL1 exhaust shield too? (Somebody stop me!)

rockers are zl1's painted. i initially was going to dip them to see if i liked the color scheme (was going to do the original ones). got a deal on these and did it anyways. worse case if i didnt like was take them back off and go back.

thank god i like them.

Oh! and ya, i have the defenderworx ss black to put on and the reverse bezels are defenderworx.

How does it hold up, do you need to reapply every month, few months, year because it peels or wears? Do you need to remove eventually (can it permanently bond if left on too long) or is it safe to leave on as long as you want?
