ordered the 145mm from www.lite-eyes.com one was broken inside of its case. the other is very nice looking but like ive put in other threads i want them to look like the stock camaro ones with the top and bottom not showing and just the sides showing but these are looking like they are smaller than that and that the whole ring may show..im gonna install the one good one and see what it looks like.may actually look good..well see.ill take a pic of the one light and post it for those of you who may like it and want to try it..also the kit i received came with a toggle switch and a transformer box everything you need to install them yourself

lol I was jsut being a troll, not sure how the halo's would be but I bet it it wasn't 10 bajillion candle power and a very subdued light output that the color change would draw 'the man' down on people.

is it the bulb or the actual halo that is colored?

is the halo just a glass (or polymer) ring?

...i.e. does it use the same principal as used in fiber optics... where the bulb is at one end of the ring and the light is directed though a transparent tube?

if so, you could simply put a colored film over the bulb ......... like in the toys they sell at the circus where the fibers change colors.

hey guys ima be making some halos. of all different styles colors and shapes..i just ordered the parts i need to make some home made halo style led lights..im going to make a couple different designs. and put them on my car to see what they look like..ill post them and if you guys like them then ill sell them dirt cheap just to help everyone get the most out of their car. so any opinions on styles and colors let me know and ill order up some more parts and make some. i ordered 50 green leds. and ima order some blue and red after i make my own. i dont wanna order a ton of lights and not be able to do it right. i wont sell or even give them away if i cant make them look perfect or insanely good. ill keep you guys posted on how they turn out. ima copy and post this on the other halo threads to get peoples opinions on colors and ideas for designs. feel free to leave some ideas.
