How much you have in a savings/checking account at the bank will likely have little to no impact on your loan. Your approval will depend mostly on your credit score and income and a few other factors like tenure at your job and how long you have lived at your current residence and the amount you are going to borrow. They might not even look at your income and some of the other factors if your credit score is high enough. Do you know what your credit score is?

in hines sight i wished i used a credit union and didn't pay the 3k finance fee as my credit was top notch and continue to be..... oh well you live and learn

i work for a credit union. i am a credit manager, have been there 25 yrs. yes, c.u. will offer personalized service, and lower rates. we are non for profilt. unlike banks. dont get taxed like the banks, and our board of directors are all volunteers. go for the credit union.!
