if you are still in high school they should offer classes for it as an elective.
I know Crazycarfan is taking a webdesign class this fall, & believe me its also a College credit if he passes it with a b or above. Hes happy about that. |

Have you uploaded any of your work for us to check out yet???? Don't know if you have it or not, but Poser 5 was given away for a while after the release of version 6. You might be able to get your hands on a copy of that if you haven't already. Best of luck to ya and keep us informed.

If you are serious about this you need to find a way to purchase either maya or 3ds max for vfx work as seen in transformers. Both of these software were used. Once you found your software (equal work can be created in almost any 3d software, its all about the artist) you of course have to learn it. Because autodesk is the creator of both of the lead software they have several introductory tutorials on the website. Then you should go to cg.tutsplus.com and follow several of the free tutorials to get to know the software and concept of 3d modeling. Afterwards if you enjoy this and think its right for you should go to http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com (has tutorials by transformer modelers and gears of war modelers) and purchase some of their tutorials or go to digital tutors and purchase some of their stuff. Thats currently what im doing and im taking a class on 3ds max once school starts up. This is something I made in about a week.
