Every time I go to my dealer for anything wrong with my car they've "never heard of it before" lmao I really hate my dealer 😜

Now that I think about (of course it wasn't the same thing as the OP) I had the clutch go out on mine at about 1k miles. Got it fixed with no problems, no issues since then. Let them take care of it for you!

So just thought I'd update you all on what's going on with my car. I finally got the car back last Wednesday. Apparently there was a part that was not installed correctly from the factory which caused the 4-5-6 clutch to burnout. The dealership rebuilt it but I had to go out of town for a few days so I didn't really have a chance to drive the car until yesterday. Now the transmission makes a weird clunking sound when I put it in reverse and at idle there's a very noticeable vibration that definitely wasn't there before this whole thing happened.

On top of that, the dealership tore a hole in the leather of the driver's seat and that has to be replaced.

So now it's back to the dealership again tomorrow to drop the car off for more tranny work and to have the seat fixed too. At this point the car will have been in the shop almost longer than I've actually be able to drive it. So frustrating and disappointing.

Hoping GM/Chevy will make things right. My family has been buying Chevys exclusively for over 40 years and I'm starting to lose that lovin' feeling. Heck, my daughter has nicknamed my car the "daddy's boo boo car"!

Sorry to hear that. Its too bad the big 3 forgot who made them who they are .. .the loyal customer. I really hope they get it right this time. Whats sad is, there are some really good dealerships out there.....and really good mechanics who take pride in their work. They just get harder n harder to find these days.

This might sound crazy but after experiencing a chain of horrible Chevy only dealers, I found a Cadillac dealer that has been top notch.

If they hose you again, you might want to jump on dealerrater.com and look up a few places near you.

Your married and you still have to go on dates? You have more issues than a busted tranny.

Anyway, don't sweat it. It's under warranty. Let them fix it and move on.

Absolutely. I take mine to a Buick/GMC dealer.
