WOW. Thank goodness you're all right. This is why side curtain airbags are becoming standard.

The only thing I felt was similar to being punched in the arm... and not even hard at that... no bruises or anything. Just a broken heart :(

Dude I am so sorry to hear this.... The same thing happened to me a week after I bought my new srt-4... I literally cried because I knew they would not total it and once a car is in an accident it is never the same... I even thought about torching it lol

I will probably be driving my new camaro around paranoid some idiot will hit me again (I got t-boned too with the right of way). It's a shame that you can't deny a repair to the car and have it totalled out but maybe if you pull the right strings you could make it happen.

that sucks, I will say I am very careful when I drive my camaro becaus they are so new that people who are driving are looking at my car and not the road.

I was approaching a green light yesterday and a guy who was stopped at the red light slowly started pulling RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!! I was able to use the other lane to go around him. He came flying up next to me and got out at the next light. He started appolgizing really hard, said he was staring at the car and didn't realize his foot had come off the brake.

BE CAREFUL!!!!

i would hope you get a new one but i dont know. looks like a new door, new front quarter and maybe rear. I would say 10-12k in damage. The only way you might get a total it if the frame is bent and the air bag stuff is really expensive to replace

How did the interior hold up? Was the driver door panel normal or broken? Anything off in the cab?

Well ... I look at it like this. Again the Camaro saves another driver. Imagine without the curtain bags.
