the topic itself is interesting. however, until someone actually goes to a prepared track and runs these times, a GPS or Iphone app isnt enough of a reliable measuring tool to quantify the results.

Exactly alot of people are testing their 0 to 60 times on this site using GPS and Iphones etc and not at a track..but yet are pissed with their performance numbers

I try to tell them. just like the guy that wants GM to "fix" his car cus he cant drive it fast/well enough to get the times of a professional driver who more than likely ran the car numerous times on a prepared track until he got the best time. instead of the average-joe-schmoe-driver who goes out and punches it on a bare road once or twice and wonders why their car is "slow"

then wants to complain that GM wont "fix" the problem.

I'll fix the problem. drive the car to me. and I'll buy you a bus ticket back home and show you how to drive the damn car
