if the car has 400+ hp im gettin it when it comes out, im over sea right now waiting and waiting and saving money to by this beast. im even thinking about re-uping for more years so i can have more money so i can pay this beast off asap. so if that mean that when i get back to the states and if the car is not out i will spend day and night at a chevy dealer ship until they do come out and i will have my fire breathing, pony eating, no challenger contestant, king of the streets CAMARO.....aaaaahhhhh ......

sorry if i went over the edge

My current plans involve waiting.

I've always admired the "special" models, ie; Intimidator SS, Berger, etc., and while I love my SS, I'd like to someday own a more special/unique model of the Camaro. Therefore, I'll wait a bit and see what options/opportunities are available.

I'm waiting. Hopefully I'm waiting to find a used top dog. But I'll wait for a new big dog at least...

I may have to take out a restraining order on my self from every Chevy dealer within a 500 mile radius to keep from buying a new one... Tag, can I do that?

I'm going to wait because I would like to have a nice down payment to bargain with and because I too want the top dawg. I haven't owned a brand new car yet, so I'd like to be able to order exactly what I want because this is the first car that I fell immediately in love with at first sight. I've always wanted a '69, but with modern features, and this car, to me, looks so close but BETTER, and I'm sure it'll have anything I've ever wanted.

I'm waiting 2-3 months after they are released, at worst case maybe just before the convertibles come out. I'm not waiting for the Top Dog, just want my V-8 and I'm off!

I'll wait by default. December '09 is probably the earliest I could afford one, so the models I'd want will probably be available by then. If not, I figure Spring '10 oughtta do it. I'd like an SS, but I may settle for less. The package will depend on standard/optional features, as well as price.

Honestly, how long are we talking for the top models? A timetable for the SS/Z28/RS? Realistically.

Interesting. My initial thought, i mean with all the excitement going around, was that everyone sounded like they must have it right away, that everyone was going to get some "unofficial waiting list." I still really am excited and have not thought of waiting. I probably should wait considering my down payment, by the time release date comes, will probably not have accumulated perhaps even half the total cost.
Anyone not planning to put down much for a down payment?

Sure...but we only take action on a criminal violation of a protective order.

In other words, I'll swing by the dealership you sneak off to, yell at you to get your head on straight (YOU MUST WAIT!!!!), and happily (by your request) walk you off the property!

Depends on what the vert ends up looking like with the top up, if it still looks cool, thats what were getting, if not, we'll get at least the SS 400 hp+ model. My wife says if we trade my monte(ouch, typing that hurt ) on it we can get the top of the line, so we'll see.....
