Sorry for bringing this thread back from 4-5 months ago. Since I'm cross shopping TSP and Stainless Power headers(both in 2" and with integrated cats), I need to ask this question to clarify. Are you saying that the Stainless Power headers have an integrated merge spike, whereas the TSP headers do not feature this?

If this is the case, does this make the "$100 difference" negligible and thus a no-brainer per say to go with the SP product?

You would be correct, TSP headers dont have the merge spike.

With that said, dont use that as reasoning behind your purchase. Every long tube headers performs roughly the same in comparison to its competitors with both being of equal size (1 7/8" vs 1 7/8" for example).

Get whichever longtube system you can with cats shipped to your door that fits your budget the best.

Here are some pics of my header install of the SP 1 7/8 with off road mids. Absolutly love these headers and the sound is amazing, also picked up 37rwhp with a dyno tune over my stock pull..WOW great product.

I had tsp headers on my other camaro. They were great, the cats however came apart.

I've been running TSP headers for a little while now...ZERO issues. I love them. Plus I noticed a huge jump in power. They put a smile on my face for sure.

No problem. Very glad that you are happy with the Stainless Power headers.
