I owned a 2007 Mustang GT, which I really liked, but there is no way it can hang with a 1Le!
Also, my 2013 Subie WRX always had to hit the brakes on the highway on ramp behind the guy with that GT, cuz that GT cannot handle the curve at 100+mph...when I would lead, he couldnt keep up. No surprise....although I liked my GT, the handling was poop.
Oh...my WRX had the factory SPT exhaust....it was louder than my current 1Le lol!
Those pick up truck guys see a small car and their small brains say...ah doh....must be a whimpy four banger....my 2.5 ton truck with a Hemi will eat it...
Too bad they dont realize those late model subies are turbo charged 2.5 litre flat four boxer engines that are very fast.
Now, woth my 1Le I ignore anyone who is "not worthy"....which is 99% of the cars out there lol.

I live in the Cochise corner of Arizona, lots of big country abounds here with light traffic. I was planning to do a US 191 run, north of Morenci to Alpine there's a lot of shifting with three 9,000'+ passes to ascend/descend. The scenery is world class with a number of picture pull offs for for those so inclined.

INDE (Willcox) will be open for track racing October 12-13, gotroost will be driving his Jannetty cammed/Pfadt suspension LS3, there should be some ZL1s running as well. If anyone is interested in running the track, change over to a DOT 4 break fluid as "normal" break fluid heats up and boils when racing.

There's also a large car show in Sierra Vista (4600') on the 12th, a dyno will be at the show, cost for three pulls should be in the $45-$60 range. One of our Cochise guys will be dynoing his new Shelby GT500 Mustang, I've ridden in it and it's a really nice ride with brutal acceleration.

My car got the SW ZL1 retro exhaust treatment and is REALLY loud (can't wait to cam it). 500 crank is a start but I make no illusion about being the fastest but it keeps "fast n furious" wannabes at bay..

Just got messed with last night for the first time ever. Somebody in a modded BMW. Sounded like they had full exhaust. It was dark so I couldn't see the model. They came up next to me and then dropped the hammer. They were pulling pretty good considering we were doing 60 already. If there was less traffic I might have obliged.

Ehh, it's just a 5.0. I just moved here a month ago. I really haven't had anyone mess with me either other than some kid in a Acura that saw me leave a stoplight post haste so he felt the need to catch up and give me the fly by. I gave him the Shaka sign at the next stoplight and all he did was mean mug me. Shrug.

I'm sure he had fun telling all his buddies he blew my doors off.
