I feel your aggravation. The California Duster works great.

RJT show dust big time. I absolutley hate it. The color just doesn't POP like it does when clean. It really dulls the finish.

Is the California Duster I see at Wal-Mart the same Duster you guys are talking about? I don't want to run out and by a knock off.

My apartment car port is a dust haven...I can wipe the car down with a microfiber cloth...go inside for 5 minutes and come back out and see a light coat of dust...it drives me nuts!

I have bought a California Duster before...but then it started smelling weird...haven't bought one since.

I believe so. TARGET also sells them.

Follow their instructions;

_ allow it to airdry for 48 hrs. before using
_ initially it may leave streaks (harmless) which can be removed with spray detailer
_ I allowed mine to sit out, laying on newspaper, in the garage, for a week before its first use

It's worked fine so far.

I have RJT. I use a Griot's microfiber duster (I have Calif. dusters also) after I return from a drive. Then a quick lick with Zaino Z-6, then cover. Get yourself a dash duster to use on your wheels and label for wheels only.

California Duster is the way to go. I have one in all three of my cars. I live in the dust bowl of eastern Washington State and cars are very hard to keep clean. Sport Red, IOM, and Autumn Gold. I believe the gold car is the easyist car to keep clean. Doesn't show the dirt.

I never owned a California Duster until I bought my black Z28. For any dark color, it is a must. I've gone through a couple dusters over the years. Just follow the instructions, they work great. Got my last one at WalMart.

I use the duster on my IBM and it is great!! It only takes a couple of minutes and you clean and ready to go!! The first few times it would leave the wax streaks, but they wipe off really easy.
