BP 93 for both Camaros over 4 years with BP rewards card.

Anyone remember when BP had the clear 93 octane back in the mid 90's?

I am partial to fuel. I refuse to fill up anywhere other than BP unless I am in Canada.

Tips...since we are sort of in the realm...

Change fuel and air filter every 20k if you use top tier fuel. 10k if off brand.

No need for ANY additive whatsoever.

Clean MAF sensor with an approved MAF sensor cleaner every 5k or 3k with a K&N filter (oil coating)

Cheapest 93 I can find - usually Murphy USA - never had any problems - car runs great. If I'm not in an area with Murphy, I try to get Shell 93.

Chevron

We have crappy 90 octane up here as the highest pump you can get and they put additives in the gas to help with build up. Aside from the 87 octane that came from the dealership, been Chevron since...

Shell or BP. Shell, pretty much 90% of the time, though.

Funny you should ask. Always Chevron when possible, then Shell.

But the Chevron next to my house started charging for air. I went and checked the one down the street and they still have free air. Planning on writing three letters. One to the first station explaining why I won't buy gas there anymore. 2nd to the next closest station explaining that I'll buy all my gas there as long as they still have free air. And 3rd to Chevron corporate explaining that I will quit buying their brand if I can't get free air. And I'll explain to all three that this is a 10mpg daily driver. That makes me quite the customer.

Before someone says "they won't care." About 15 years ago my dad's favorite Shell station started charging for air. He let the manager know he wouldn't be back. So the manager told all the employees to turn on the air for free when my dad pulled up to it. They cared. My dad kept buying gas there.
