Well, they are "TR6060" but thats too general. They are all spec'd out different. So to say hey they have the same tranny in the vette-chally-viper etc is not a true statement. All of them have different torque ratings etc.

I'm just hoping its only a shaft issue and they get it sorted out fast..

I almost have it broken in and I have only launched it hard once with all nannies off just to see how easily the tires light up. Which was fun

I was gonna change oil soon and see what this car can really do. But now I know I have to wait for gm to issue a recall. This sucks for a lot of us.

I have launched mine hard a few times and have not had an issue. Anything above 3000 RPM on the street is a smoke show... Lets all hope it's only a handful of vins and a quick easy fix... Hang in there guys, GM is working hard and fast on this one.

I was going to get my car in about 3 days, but now my dealer said its not coming because this M6 problem... How the hell can GM let this happen? I just can not understand..... I just want my car :(

I'd like to know if the parts and the final assembly for the vette, CTS, G8, & GTO are made in the same facility.

If yours fails, you should get the ZR1 assembly.

Yep found out about this today from my buddy at GM, I have an 18XXX vin and called him today to find out where my car was. He told me it was held in QC because of the M6 problem and was waiting to have the tranny replaced.
