I would of too, I didn't get in the game til 1997 and used quakerstate/ Pennzoil synthetic 10/30 around 2001-2007 til I dropped the Ls3 in there.

I ran out and drained and took this just for you.....

I drain it ever OTHER Oil Change...dont mind the light and sweet at the bottom ....lol

He's got at least 40k on it. It's a 2010. I'll get him to post up in here. I know Phastek took a quick look while doing other work was surprised at how much oil he got.

His car is a manual also. Mine was auto and has a different hookup

Well I went out and verified it to mine. They seem to be hooked up the same way. I can't see it but I'm assuming that your side port of the can goes to the side port/nipple of your manifold when I say that.

If it were me I would take all the photos to a dealer and show them what you have going on. They should be able to do some testing compression and bleed down test etc. to see what you have going on.

That just doesn't seem right to me and if I were you I would prefer it to get fixed while it's in it's winter sleep rather that lose the good weather for driving. Also time is money when it comes to your Warranty.

I also checked mine with 700 miles since I changed my oil and emptied my can. There was maybe a teaspoon of oil in my Elite catch can.

Fist time I emptied it was after about 500 miles and it was almost half full. Got less every time I checked after. Now it's probably a few ounces every 1000 miles.

I put my CC on late, at about 20k miles. I'm at 29k now.

mlee was referring to my oil problem----did not put catch can on until 30000 and did so when i was getting hesitation problems---went to phastek and when they pulled off the plenum they actually poured oil out of it-----in the last 8000 miles i have collected almost 2 qts of oil---2010 ss with cam headers and tune---manual------

No it really doesn't make sense at all. I just cringe thinking what made it into the engine before I had the CC though.

I get about half full on each tank of fuel. Car runs great! I don't worry about it much as some motors are just I bit different than others.

I have heard of others with the same situation. Just glad I put the Catch Can on keeping this out of my intake. obviously works. 2010 motor has 10k
