Well, the Viper has had zero dollars spent on advertising with virtually all marketing money going to racing.

It has sold about 450 units.

That's far from 4000.

Makes sense to me to super-hype the car to be sure all sell swiftly.

As usual, though, how well will the Z/28 sell when dealer are asking north of $100k, reguardless of MSRP?

GM has been pretty mild in my opinion in marketing the Z/28 and have admirably stuck to the facts. I've spent some years in the Porsche world and their marketing is some of the most hyped overblown insulting BS. Really offensive. I take what GM has put out as great, classy stuff vs some other crap I've been subjected to :-)
