Still no VIN as of this morning. GM Customer Service actually called me this morning to tell me my Camaro is in the assembly line getting built and shouldn't be long before I get a VIN. I'll believe it when I see it.

Yea, I called them last week and they told me it is "In production but we cannot tell you when it will be completed". Then I called today and they told me it is "in the process of being produced but they cannot say when it will be done". They're full of it, I'm pretty sure they just make things up to keep us quiet.

I know what you mean. Can't blame the CS person though. They have to contact another department to get information on our order and often times, the CS person does not know what relevant questions to get answers for. Whoever they have to call likely just tell them the quick and easy answer.

So, I think you mentioned some place that your order got pushed back, is that so? (maybe got u confused with someone else) And how did you come to that conclusion? Was it from the ViZ or your dealer's work bench? Just curious.

You may be thinking of someone else. I was at 3300 last week. And the last time i checked was thurs. I checked with Viz today and I'm at 3400 still with a 7/13 TPW, so I am assuming that means my car is broadcast/AKA on the assembly line. Would you agree?

Sorry, I confused you with someone else. Anyway, yep, you and I are in the same boat but the good thing is, our TPW has not changed so that is good. Also, keep in mind, the plant re-opned last week and still had probably most of the 6/29 TPWs to complete last week that were not completed before the 1 week shut down. Then you throw in the M6 issue that thankfully, was quickly decided on. The plant started producing the 7/13 TPW orders late last week so I would imagine ours will be done some time this week. I would worry if 7/20 TPW guys start posting VINs before us.

Agreed. A boat load of 7/13 guys got produced early last week, including M6 orders. I would be real surprised if we did not have VINs by tomorrow, Wed the LATEST. I'm curious to see if we'll hit QC or if the problem is all sorted out that it won't even be an issue. Most of those guys that hit QC last week were only in 3-4 days and now theyre about to ship or already shipped.
