Too bad they don't make Bridgestone RE-11s in 20 size. Absolutely no issue even in 15 degree temps around corners

It could be worst....
There's cold, and then there's Antarctica cold. ... How does a frosty reading of 135.8 degrees below zero sound? http://www.usatoday.com/story/weathe...ecord/3950019/

I too have been driving mine in our cold snap. Lowest I saw the thermometer get to this week was 26. I was "really" careful and just drove slow on surface streets. I did cover the rear tires last night and parked facing inward in my stall. I'm somewhat lucky though since my stall is almost like a 3 car garage with no door. I'm not really worried but it was a little interesting at times early before the tires warmed up since I leave for work around 6:30.

It's been 26-28 degrees outside in the AM in the North Bay - my car's garaged so it's prolly 50-ish in there and I'll take a quick scoot out to drop off my son at school. The G2s don't have grip so I drive it like a grammy when it's this cold. No cracked tires yet though!

They've sold thousands of cars wih these tires and you only see a few examples of cracking. Knock on wood....but I don't think it's all that common.
If they crack I'll replace them, other than that I won't change until I have my suspension mods figured out. Thinking 295's or 305's in the rear |

I bought my car in Atlanta in May, and had a cracked tire. They replaced it under warranty. I'm now in SoCal, and I get up at 4AM and it's upper 30's. No problems (other than traction) at all.

At the top of the forum is a 1le wheel and tire thread. Check it out. There's an entry about the offset sand lug nut pattern sizes (5x120 I think).
