Not a replica!!!!! This is the actual famous lightweight car that won its class as Sebring in 1968 as well as several other Trans Am races. All of the cars at this vintage event are the real cars with amazing racing pedigree. The black GT40 with silver stripes is the car that won LeMans in 1966! The Sunoco Lola Can-Am car is the one Mark Donohue drove during 1967! The history at this event is amazing. It is the largest vintage motorsports gathering in country!

It is truly an amazing event.

We go to Monterey in August as well. That is another tremendous event/happening, in the car world!

Road America was a great opportunity to have some fun with the Nickey Super Camaros.

It was great to see the Nickey Super Camaro on the track! I saw it in person at the Bloomington Gold Vette Show a couple of weeks ago and it looks even better running!

Would love to make it out to Monterey one of these years and possibly Goodwood in England.

I was there on Sunday. I had to leave at about 2:30, but I got some decent pics. When I get a chance to process all the RAW files, I will put them up on my website. I did not take many in the pits, I'm more of an action guy when it comes to photography, like this from last year.

Unfortunately I did not take a single shot of a Camaro last year!!

Road America is also one of the best places for spectators to take photos. There are many areas where you don't have to shoot through the fence.

Love those types of shots, my camera is not good enough to take those kinds of shots. My dad has one with a great telephoto lense and he took a lot of those types of shots back in the CART/Champ Car days. Pre-digital days! Can't wait to see you shots!

I LOVE GM vehicles, and particularly Chevy's, but would buy any GM vehicle if I had the $$...Hopefully, one day, soon enough, a 5th Gen CAMARO! Dave_O
