I'm going to admit, some people might think that's a little obtuse. But what I can do for the OP is this. I'll call her, get to know her, take her on a weekend trip somewhere. So I saw the quirky statement about you getting the shaft and it was funny. Some how I missed the first part, earlier, about you being married four times. Really, you don't think somewhere in there is a lesson, or whatever?



I have a cousin did it three times. One was to a religious nut, I won't call anyone out, but we didn't see my cousin for a few years during that marriage. I do this when thinking about his three, let alone someone that does it a fourth time. But at least my cousin finally just decided to be him and happy. He's very, very successful in business and has a nice lady that he spends time with and has for several years, they just keep things separate.


I like to think I'm the smartest guy in the room, I'm not just single, I never got married either, I just skipped straight to being divorced and I love it. Get to buy all my own toys, take trips, get a new dog or cat, move, really do whatever I want without asking a ball and chain for permission. I seriously actually prefer hanging out with my friends that are 20 years my senior and divorced, I seem to have a lot more in common with them than my other friends that haven't been married and are closer to my age.

Welcome to the divorced club. I foolishly got married at 18 and was divorced by 23. Dude has been stalking me since 2006. Can't get an order of protection against him because he works through proxies. He wouldn't let me own a Camaro, so that should give an insight into what kind of person he was.

Maybe marrying "a close relative" was the problem, not sure that's even legal, well I guess it depends on what state you're from. LOL. But when it's all said and done, it is who you are, you did ask her to marry you??? This is a definite reflection of your character. Careful how you criticize, realistically you're criticizing yourself and the choices you made in life. Bashing the poor decisions you made in your life, hmmm, you're only insulting yourself.

I know, just joking around. Although I did work w/a guy who's parents were related and if you met him, it'd take about two minutes to see why they passed laws against the blood line being so closely breed.

Anyway, the real question is how will they cut up the Camaro? Right down the middle leaving the front and back halves? Or down the middle length wise, and who gets the drivers side vs the passenger side? So many questions/decisions.

I'm not sure where your from, but that 50% stuff according to my experience here in Washington state is a misnomer. It may be a community property state, but, it goes like this, "what is hers is hers and what is mine is hers".
There is no equal distribution of property in this state.

I'm glad the OP is happy starting his new life. I never really liked being single though.
