I'll be happy to sit one of mine on the scale, if you want to throw one of another brand on a scale. They're off the car, at the moment

I have TSP 2" headers. I had no issues with fitment. My only words of advice are...
1) You will have to disconnect the steering shaft, use a friend to help you realign it 2) You will have to remove the oil dipstick and tube, TAKE PICTURES, VIDEOS, AND REMEMBER THE ROUTING! If you don't it will be a pain in the ass to get back in 3) Reuse your stock gaskets or get some new ones from GM. The ones they send from TSP are shit and don't fit right Oh and to the guy that said they weigh the same as the stock headers and cats, your ****ing high. They don't weigh anywhere near the same amount.

Only thing I'm thinking is that possibly the cats weigh a bunch, but I wouldn't know. I elected for off-road extensions. |

Minimal hp gain at your level between the two. Once u see 600 plus hp maybe another 2 percent? Tops. Heck I only gained 4percent with long tubes.

I install headers on these cars all the time TSP headers are the heaviest I've seen! We weighted the headers and cats and the factory manifolds and cats ans they weighted the same. They are heavier than Kook's, ARH, Stainless Works and Pfadt headers.

I did not notice any weight increase with my TSP headers vs any other brand I've held. They seem right in line with the other brands on weight. I'm not a big fan of the collector they use but other than that, I'm satisfied with my 2" TSP's.
Terry, Maybe it was an older set made from a different gauge steel that y'all weighed? |
