227/235 is what I wanted for my GXP but sold it before I did a cam swap.

Great thread. Just a quick question regarding cams to add to the OP post

I am assuming a swap of cams voids the warranty? Just curious, got about 7k on my 13' and its a DD. The list of DD cams and discussions in this thread is very useful

Yes, swapping of camshaft will void your powertrain warranty. Just remember that if you have to go into the dealer for warranty work, whatever needs to be fixed, if it isn't directly related to what you modified, the dealer can still honor your warranty.

You ought to check out our '545' Cam, as LS3 SS mentioned earlier! It fits your bill - great sound, great driveability, and plenty of power/torque to boot! Here are some of our builds - Customer Build Blogs. I have several 545 cammed cars listed on there - plenty of photos, videos, and dyno sheets to check out the results!

Here's an idle video for you also,

Hello, I am looking for the best daily driver cam, but that can also be used when I supercharge it. I know its a compromise, but If anyone has any ideas including the cam specs i would appreciate it.

My vote is for the night fury. Had one in my c6 Vette with a blower and made 750whp! Loved it so much I put it in my SS as well! Blower is coming soon too! makes just under 500whp now. Both cars have full supporting mods. IMO the night fury is the biggest DD cam I would run. Drives almost stock, little clutch work in the low rpms but sounds like a race car all the time. Perfect mix of power, drivability, and sound! Just be sure to use a good tuner as with any performance mods!
