The stripe package look so much better than the SS with rally stripe package. The hood vent on the rally stripes breaks up to bad, I like this. That being said BRM is a lot darker than the picture depicts. I think if you paint the ground effects the same color as the wheels would look awesome.

Sorry but no way that's worth $6k. Granted it is sharp but nothing sticks out $6k worth.

We saw pics of this SSE at the end of last year, right around the time we saw Z/28 pics. One of the main reasons I got my 45th was because it had all the bells and whistles as a 2LT plus some extras for the same price, supporting OPs point.

So it must be $47,950 which sounds about right.

That's a lot of money for springs. Doesn't sound like a special at all.

I'd rather just get a 1LE 2SS than that spring edition, those wheels look different..

Wheels are different. 21"

Also has some ground effect options installed from what I understand.

Yes, the 1LE is a nice way to option out a car and if I was going to get an SS I would strongly consider it. I do think OP is shooting for something a little different with a rag top & cosmetics. Either way he can't go wrong with a Camaro and the permagrin that comes with it.

Postscript...

So I did, and you are correct, Becky knows her stuff. With the $1710 in options I want (shifter, exhaust, windscreen, caego net), the MSRP for the SSE would be $52,500! Going back to my original "60th Anniversary Corvette Imitation" spec...
