On hold right now. Have to order a different flexplate. The converter they sent me is for a 4l80 but has 3 tabs like a 4l60 so I got to order another plate first thing in morning!

Will the 3 holes on the converter not line up with the flex plate? I have a Persion Industries converter and it only had 3 tabs and it bolted up just fine with my 4l80 flex plate.

Maybe I am not understanding what your having problems with.

^ not all converters have 6 tabs.

Ya look up top and I have a picture of the flex plate that I tried to use and it doesn't line up to my Precision Industries converter. Trying to figure out which flex plate I need and put a rush order on it! ANY HELP!!!????

I have the same flexplate. Are you using the spacer thing between the flexplate and converter? It centers the snout of the converter and flex plate.

And your precision indeustries converter has 3 tabs on it??? And bolts right up to it??????????? Not 6 tabs right

Wow I don't know, I just went out and double checked and the 3 tabs on the converter don't line up with any 3 holes on the flex plate

Where are you at on the install? Alrady have the trans installed.... and just trying to bolt the converter up??
