I had mine crack in the winter when I had the defroster on and it was very cold.
Cost $315 to fix, aftermarket glass lifetime warranty. Non-HD and RS.

In Kentucky, all glass is covered. They even paid for a glass roof on my Corvette when it cracked.

Back in my minivan days, I had a cracked windshield replaced and 3 weeks later a storm blew the shingles off my neighbors roof, scratching the windshield so bad it had to be replaced again. Thank you GEICO no cost to me.
