Come one, come all I think!!
It seems that if you have a love for any Camaro, own one, or ordered one(2010), Cruising should not be a problem.

Correct, this will be open to all cars. Not only camaros. We're not prejudiced here at Camaro5.com. We all plan to own a 5th gen or have already ordered as of now.

I agree, but I think all the 2010 Camaros should lead the pack and not be seperated. What do you all think?

A 5th gen should definitely lead the pack but since mindz does not have his yet he should ride shotgun with someone or pass out a cruise route for a 5th gen to lead. No offense to other cars but for the first cruise for 5th gens in our area it should be lead by a 5th gen and following cruises can open up.

I vote Sunday too
Bringing my car--it is still in transit, but UP automated tracking today says 7/31 it will reach destination and I SO don't see it taking more than a week to make it to my dealership by truck, I will keep you posted on when my car arrives! For everyone that wants to go we have two options, Saturday/Sunday decision and which route.
I'm suggesting, we meet somewhere in the south bay and cruise up to Four Corners (aka Alice's Restaurant) for lunch, then a photo op at a scenic point and finishing the cruise. My idea would be something like this: 10:00am: Meet at Santana Row Parking Lot behind Borders 10:30am: Leave Santana Row cruising down the main street to 280 North to 85 S to Big Basin and up hwy 9 ~11:15am: Get to Alice's/Four Corners for lunch 12:30pm: Leave Alice's and head down 84 to HWY 1 (PCH) N up to 92 1:00pm: Get to 92 East to 280 S back to Santana Row ~1:45pm: Get back to Santana Row and figure out what to do from there. That is the proposed schedule. Looks like Sunday is winning the poll. |

I hope it is okay to invite myself to this event to see many Camaro5's in different colors and configurations. I am ordering the 2SS/RS in CGM with IO interior this Friday morning in Southern Cal dealer who can give me at the MSRP with $500 deposit.

This is great to see 14 altogether, but can we get a show of hands on who has the cars and we should go with the day that has the most 5th gens in it? I'm hoping for Sunday myself since I'm booked Saturday.
We might as well setup another day when everyone can show up after this one too ahhh the summer cruises gotta love it.

It's looking like it's 7 and 7 so far. This is turning out to be a mess lol.
I'm hoping for the next one to be at the end of September so I can try and rent a 5th gen for my birthday. Even if this one isn't as everyone planned, it's basically just to meet each other and get a cruise route down for the gatherings to come. |
