Moved from Media, Pa to Wilmington, De. Then jumped down to calabash, nc. It's at state line in between wilmington, nc and myrtle beach, sc. Busy in the summer and quiet in the winter.

Something you may want to consider, there's a NC 5th gen camaro club that's based around Charlotte. We're 166 members strong and very active with events once spring arrives. That would be a good opportunity to meet some great people and have something to do that you should enjoy. I live near Raleigh so most (not all) of the events are 2-3 hours away

OP I've lived in NC my entire life. Went to college in the eastern portion of state and stayed for a while.

Closing on a house now just outside of Charlotte. Very nice around here with lots to do. Lakes with world class fishing, Nascar, NFL and NBA teams.

Your best bet is Charlotte, NC area. Maybe even overt he boarder into SC where gas, Homes and food are cheaper. I am about 4-5 Miles north of the SC/NC boarder and I always go down there for gas. Charlotte is growing like crazy and the jobs are everywhere.

Let me splash some water on this dry thread. Any luck in your search? I myself don't want to spend another winter in New Jersey so I've been checking out homes online in Apex, Clayton areas. May have to drive to Raliegh to work...unless I hit lottery.
