i wish they left it where no matter if you have the rs package, that your still able to control your own fogs...one down fall chevy made

i do have the sam problem . i know it feels bad for having the Fog Light but without contol or switch for turning it on ( bad GM engineer designed ) |

Automatic headlight sensor
I'm trying to make it so my lights stay on like it is at night. My HiD kit that I put in in my 2010 camaro RS the left headlight doesn't turn on cause not enough juice going in to it is there a way I can cover that sensor so it thinks it's always night time?

You may want to go to Phasetekperformance.com and check out their wiring kit for $20 bucks. Its easy to install and it allows you turn on you fog lights with your park lights.

Just to be clear, I have a 1SS RS and I definitely have the button to turn the fogs on and off. I turn the on every time I drive the car. I don't know what this mumbo jumbo about RS packages not having the button is

Owning my 45th anniversary only a week, the fog lights had me baffled. I just got the owners manual today from the PO. First thing I looked up was how to turn on/off the fog lights. I actually was relieved to learn I couldn't.

I'm sure you all know much more thant me on these things. But. If you simply push in on your head light switch, it activates your fag lights. They turn off on high beam. They are yellow in color from the factory but there is a very good Utube on how to install matching LED bulbs to make them match. I wouold not call them fog lights as they do very little in any light but they look better if they match. The secret is that little knob on the left by the steering column that seems to be spring loaded? Put in auto and them push straight in and watch your Tach. No you have two indicators that show outside lights. I have a Spring edition 2014 with it all... Good luck hope it helps Merry Christmas
