From Step Brothers:

"Dad. We're men. Okay? That means a few things. We like to s**t with the door open. We talk about p****y. We go on riverboat gambling trips. We make our own beef jerky. We... buy Magenta Camaros!"

I hear what you're saying, OldScool, and I was just having some fun, but I don't think you necessarily need to see something in person before you're pretty sure you're gonna hate it, especially if it is anything like the rendering above. Eech! Gives me the willies!

But it also doesn't seem like GM is really marketing the color to dudes if they are not offering it in models that are almost exclusively bought by males.

When tasked with the choice of all the colors I think *most* Camaro owners (especially males) would not have opted to tick the Magenta box when ordering their own cars had it been available at the time. But I could be wrong.

I agree with you on the Synergy Green color, by the way. I would have given it serious consideration when buying my ZL1 if they offered it!!

And a deeper, darker purple? Hmmm. Gets me thinking.

....sooo, consider this, it seems you too have taken a step back on the synergy green color...so what say you after time and consideration after looking at this color,... going from an internet point of view,...will you yourself go in person to see it on the lot, or take notice of it on the street...could that change your mind? These colors give different perspectives under varying weather conditions I can tell you with fact. Get in your car, drive through the dealer lots...often, under different lighting conditions, see them sitting there...then let us know. It's too early to judge. Unless you got up close and personal with one.

Rob3D hit the nail on the head, obviously Gm is aiming to please some of the women, and Why not? The women should have some color choices that they like too. If a beautiful women pulled up in that car it would turn my head in her direction. variety the spice of life.

Fifty years from now, a Camaro in that color with all the options ticked is going to roll across the block at Barrett Jackson with like 20 miles on it.

It will be a one of one car, rare, and never driven. The commentators will probably joke, "Well, I know why it hasn't been driven, look at the color!"

And it will bring $900,000,000.*

*inflation adjusted

Its actually an option when building a ZL1 online. Although it appears to be broken, because the entire car doesn't get colored when you pick it lol

The online builder is almost always wrong. It won't be available on 1LE or ZL1.

Yeah...I saw magenta listed on the GM website on the "build your own" section of the ZL1. I suppose it is an error.

I just hate it when they offer horrilbe colors like this becasue they only offer so many colors so when they pick some special gay pride color like this it mean you can't get a decent blue or some other color on the car.

If I lived in the castro district I would rock this for sure though.

If they have to pick a "bling" color...why no go with the synergy green that has been used previously?
