At a certain mileage, an almost instantaneous, easily recognizeable gain in hp? Is everybody in CA on crack?

Seriously though, I hope it's true for a lot of people's sake. Are you talking LS3 or L99? Maybe Matster is right about the program suddenly making a change.

P.S. - YES, bring on the metric system, U.S.!!!!

It is the computer adjusting to the driver. It will actually help increase fuel economy as well!

If the computer is learning from the driver we are in trouble ! My wife ( who's car we are talking about ) drives it one way, and I tend to drive it completely different. The poor car will be completely confused !!!

As for the metric system ? They were telling me when I was in elementry school ( I'm now 44 ) that we were going to switch to metric in the next couple of years and had us learn it, it think it is the most useful measuring system out there ! What the heck are we doing ? MPH, gallons, quarts, pounds... all the conversions that go with it. Metric is the way to go, divide everything by 10, how much easier could it get ????

I like setting the CDN speedo to MPH - the
mph light comes on and it actually becomes a 300 mph speedo. I'll try to take a pic.

Not exactly sure how many KM's but at 500 miles it got morelively. And every 500 miles she gets perkier! So far the biggest jump seemed to be at 1500 miles! But even at 2000 miles she jumped more. Crazy thing is even getting more power she also seems to be getting more gas mpg's! This car is just getting better and better!
