the mustang has bite but stock for stock it doesn't have the same chomp as the camaros ss LS3

yesterday was the first time i heard the SS exhaust note in person. word up the exhaust was surprisingly quite however it was a L99 not an LS3. then afterwords i headed over to pontiac t checkout the GXP n the exhaust definitely sounded a bit less refined (in a good way), does the LS3 sound more like its G8 brother or the L99?
