Can someone describe to the noob here (me) the short and simple description for installing this?

http://www.apex-speed.com/vmax-cnc-s...camaro-en.html

I plan on getting the CAI cai and MRT V2 exhaust next month. It sounds like changing the throttle body will just give me more "power" and feeling of instant "power" when taking off? Is it worth the $150?

I'm confused about the "core charge" thing as well. Please excuse my ignorance, I want to understand and learn though!

You see my 1st pic? There are 4 bolts, take those out and unplug a plug on the left hand side n that's it. That is if it's the same setup as the SS.

The install is literally that simple. Nothing to it. It is definitely worth it especially on the V6 and ZL1. The SS sees most of its improvements in the form of throttle response but the V6 and ZL1 see that plus noticeable power gains.

Regarding the core charge, most of the time when you have something ported you have to remove it from your car and ship it off. This means down time for your car. Rather than doing that you pay the $200 core charge and we front you a ported throttle body. It is basically a deposit. Once you receive the new throttle body you swap them out and ship your stock one back to us. That is why we also have the option for a prepaid return label. Once we receive your stock one the core charge is refunded.

Be aware that the torque spec on the throttle body bolts is approximately 110 inch-pounds, which isn't much. If you apply too much torque you could damage the intake manifold and/or the throttle body seal.
