First I want do this trade when I get my car. the ss cheeks look more goofy than aggressive (to me), and the fog lights are too far out making them appear misplaced. the v6 front is the clean concept look, just add an aggressive front spoiler.
that being said, the little difference in the openings can't allow that much more air flow. I also believe the radiator gets air through the grill.

My husband bought the V6 grill for our 2SS but he said that it is to short widthwise. The V8 also has the mail slot where the V6 doesn't.

the concept grille is actually smaller than the v6...also the top part of the concept grille is shorter and the production is slightly taller which changes the look of the lights and the whole front slightly

yes i know its not exact.
the v6 front end is closer to concept than the ss (minus the ugly mail slot).
its a cleaner more attractive look.
