No tune yet. That was just from baseline stock gain. I'm sure tune will give me more. But have to wait till the summer :/

Best improvement for money spent is by far a pulley and tune. CAIs and TBs pale in comparison to simply upping the boost.

Mods/HP

This may be a little out of place, but I'm gonna ask anyway so thank you all in advance.
I now have 540 rwhp with mods. consisting of ati 10% od, airaid cai, vmax 90mm ported tb.
receiving tomorrow 18% ring, headers with high flow cats and id 850's.
This on a 2012 a6. 2600.00 for the parts am I only gonna get 25 more rwhp for the money? Reason I ask is this is a 100 rwhp from stock witch was 465 and I got 75 with just a cai, 90mm tb, and 10% od. Please feel free to chime in.

I would hope you would be able to pull a little more than 25 hp from headers and more boost plus with the 850's and a better tune you should be able to get more. You can always get a little cheaper header to help offset the cost. i bet it will be a BEAST though once you're done! Good luck buddy!

don't you have to remove and machine the snout to swap pulley? Also, wouldn't you wanna do intake and exhaust first? you need to be able to intake and exhaust more to be able to compress it, right?

you can change the lower pulley and achieve the same goal.

the stock exhaust can handle more flow until you run out of injector.
cai and 10% lower will net around 75 rwhp with a tune, after that you need more injector

I think these pics do a good job of showing one really important feature, the flexible joints. Engines do not remain perfectly still, so rigidly mounted intakes concern me. Having flexible joints allows enough flex in the intake for that natural movement to take place. I'm considering Roto-Fab, among other options, at this time for that reason.
