Sometimes it's hard to see the CGM stripes on Black, but man... when it's in the sun, it sure looks GOOD!

I have Black w/ CGM stripes... I think the CGM stripes match the black interior better than silver stripes would have. I also didn't want white or silver (which looked too light against the black) because in my opinion, it looked like skunk stripes against the black. I am thoroughly happy with my CGM stripes on the black. Subtle in some lights, but when the sun catches the metallic flake of the CGM, it is really jaw-dropping.

heres some of my pics, with some different lighting/angles.

Minus my own thoughts everybody that has seen the car commented on the stripes first, and how it has a nice almost ghost look.

Now my thoughts. I went with a subtle look and almost thought come game time it might be a little to subtle. But its perfect. You wont be disapointed.

I had not seen this combination til mine arrived. And I LOVE it. Camaros have to have stripes (IMO), but I really wanted subtle. The CGM stripes and Midnight wheels are a nice combination. If a tree fell on my car and totalled it, I'd order the exact same combination the next day. I took it to a little local car show, and people raved about the combination, with comments about "ghosted stripes," death star, etc. That said, it's all about what you want. Isn't that great about these cars!

So far everyone seems to be happy about their CGM stripe choice---I feel better now! I also may leave my GFX unpainted to help bring out the CGM stripes even more. If I decide it looks too 'unfinished', I can always get them painted black later. (Although I've heard doing it 'after the fact' is a real pain!)

Like others have said here, locomaro, it ALL depends on the light. At times it's very hard to tell mine has stripes period, but in sunlight they stand out almost like they were silver....part of the neat thing about them....subtle to pronounced all in one. I wouldn't trade the color combo for anything. Plus, the GM silver looks like white to me....way too light. BUT, if you want easily seen, stand out stripes in at all times, the CGM are not for you! No GFX here.

I've got the same exact car on order, shipped over the weekend.
I haven't seen the combo in person, but from the pics I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Sweet ride.

Being subtle and not noticable till you get close was excactly what I had in mind when I ordered mine. It is excacly what I expected.

This is a killer color combo.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with subtle...sometimes less is best.

I like the unpainted color of the GFX, especially with that color combo. I have seen painted ones on here, and they look great, but I prefer this look. They look unfinished on other color Camaros, but on Black they look great. The rear end looks a little suspect, especially with the square chrome and round exhaust tips....... i am working on a remedy........
