I will stick with the OE 20's. Although the stagger will be gone. Running OE rear wheels and tires up front under a full street series kit with bars at both ends.

Great write-up and thanks for the input.

I agree with many that don't necessarily like the sizes either, but I was thinking the max' I'd go would be with some ZR1 wheels and tires. I don't like the diameter of the stockers, personally.

Anyways - I'm very interested in your car's progression.

Guys,

I am late to the thread, but appreciate all your comments. Here are short answers to your questions.

My main concern is the impact of the wheel and tire package on the ABS system. We can correct most everything with tuning software except the ABS calibration. While we will run the same front and rear tire sizes the change in the rear from OE can create problems. Our friends at GM are checking on this for us.

We asked them to verify a LS7 clutch is a direct replacement as well.

ProCharger wants the car for two weeks which will crimp my schedule a bit. We have to work out a date with them in the next day or two.

I asked Tommy to get an updated rendering posted. He does great work and we are looking forward to haing him trick out our Camaro. As we exchange body parts we will be weighing them to determine just how much weight we add, if any.

Looking at the car for a few days has changed my perspective on the exterior design. The rear deck, rear fenders and roof join togethr in some of the most exciting sheetmetal I have seen on a production car. I just stand and stare at it from different positions in different lighting and enjoy it. It is a work of art and much more advanced than one can discern in casual glances. Thed designers and manufacturing imbued the Camaro with style of substance.

The best marketing is using a product and showing it to everyone else. Can't wait to see! Congrats and speedy tuning! Pictures please!

We are very excited about the Camaro build. ProCharger starts on the car Monday the 10th. TommyZ will have the body work painted and ready for installation before ProCharger is done. Then all that is left is suspension, wheels, tires, brake, headers, exhaust, coolers and tune...

Maybe check this out from Lingenfelter... it looks to be utilized for the Camaro also.
