The RIPShift has full adjustability for height up and down as well as gear stops to prevent you from pushing too far into the gear and damaging the synchros in the transmission.

Thoughts?
I dont know if i am remembering correctly, but wasn't the T-56 synchros like a paper type material? . If so ,is the T6060 the same?.I would definately want something that protected those.

The paper ones were used around 97-99 and now the TR6060 is now using Bronze.

I've seen other shops selling what appears to be the same product for $379...is there something different or unique about your version that I might be missing?

Thanks in advance.

yes, this is the first shifter for the new Camaro with adjustable shift stops, as well as upgraded springs.

As many of us in the Corvette community have found out the hard way, you need a shifter with these features.

If I recall correctly - for our Tremecs - there's no need for the shifter to have stops since the stops are built into the trans.

However I would suggest members compare apples to apples. The hurst shifter is a short throw with a white know. This shifter has the upgraded bushings, springs and uses the stock knob to be completely stock looking after installation. Also the item is instock and can installed in your car in no time!
"
So why would a picture help your decision in buying? Go look at your car and you can even get the 360° version!

About 2 hour install and you will need jack stands as the shifter comes out the car from the bottom.
